In 2005, our Founder, Steve Terpstra was concerned that he could develop silicosis from wall chasing and concrete cutting.

Ongoing exposure to the hazards of silica dust and also to carbon monoxide had left him fearing for his health and that of his employees.

Steve realised that the health and livelihood of him and his team were potentially at risk but could not find an existing product that provided adequate protection from these hazards.  He set about solving this problem and persevered for years to find his own solution. In doing so, he has successfully developed a technology that greatly mitigates the risk of workplace silicosis and carbon monoxide poisoning.
